I'M ALIVE
Day 1
Day 1
What a day. Saying goodbye was a little easier than I thought it would be. But I was ready to leave. First thing that happened was my host Elder Peacock, who's older brother is serving in Brisbane, took me to get my tags and keys. I was the first to the dorm so I got to pick my bed and desk location :D Then I went right to class to learn about teaching the restoration. EVERYONE FROM MY DISTRICT ARE SERVING IN WEST VIRGINIA CHARLESTON MISSION!! WHAT THE HECK!!!! I thought I was the only one going to Brisbane. But after I got my travel plans to go to AUS I found out that there was one other Elder. So I'm not completely alone. Then I found out that Everyone in my zone is from the US... I'M THE ONLY ONE FROM OUT OF COUNTRY. After intros and class we went for an orientation from the mission president President Nally and his wife. Also some other Branch presidents and their wives spoke. The way the MTC is sorted is by Zones/Branches. In each zone there are 2 districts, A and B. So I'm District A, Zone 1. After the orientation there was dinner, then lessons with investigators, and then a meeting with the zone leaders.
Oh, and Logan told me it rained for a whole day. A good time to test out his new coat for Australia!!
